Last Stew Blog Entry

Their specialty is their milk and this grade school favorite did not disappoint. It is from Clover the Cow!

Stew's Sushi

I had never seen something so cool ever. It tastes as good as it sounds. If only they could harvest this innovation for peace and harmony.

Entry to Stew's

Good news is that I took the picture with no problem but the bad news is that Security busted me and told me to stop. I am sad because I saw a great food bar, a place where they make rice cakes, a mozzarella maker, and lots of cool singing cows. Oh well, at least you saw the wine store and my Milk parking. Ugh...

Wine Store at Stew Leonard's

This store is in the top ten of wine stores and it huge. The back of the store is the fine wine section with wines that only Jay-Z could afford.

Stew Leonard's

I heard about this place on one of the 37 Food Network shows I watch. It is supposedly the Disney of groceries. Remember, I am parked in "Milk".

Triboro Bridge

Driving in traffic makes me bored and when I sit in it, I get cool pictures of bridge signage. My life is full and exciting.

Yankee Stadium

Today was opening day and it was rained out which resulted in me sitting in traffic for a long time with angry Yankee fans.

Barry!

It is blurry because I am shaking from the excrement.

Glow Stick Fun

The opening act for Manilow sucks and we are playing with them to stay entertained.

Our View

We are not sure it will be Manilow or Morissey at this distance but the smell of Jean Nate will lull me into submission. They are now playing "My Humps" so I am not sure they are focusing on the demographic.

Golden Girls Mosh Pit

Do you see the rain bonnets and walkers? Geriatrics love the Barry and will pay more than the $9 we paid to see him.

Mickey Jacket

Chang loves Disney jackets at Manilow especially when the lady is buying a Barry dogtag.

Nascar Manilow

Who the hell buys a jacket like that for $250? Jeff Gordon might.

Brain

This has nothing to do with business travel but it was a welcome chuckle after my Delta adventure.

Angry Delta Mob

This is what 50 pissed off people look like when they are told they cannot go home because Delta cannot ensure their planes don't fall out of the sky.

Lego Liberty Bell

My love of Legos in a tourist friendly configuration.

Philadelphia International Terminal

New and much nicer than the ghetto terminal that uses Delta.

Delta Crown Club

Well, it is better than Miami's closet club. The place is full of tension since a large flight was part of the canceled MD-88 wire recall. Can you sense the joy in the room?

Thinking Outside the Box

Here is my view from my training class. It looks very exciting, huh? Dilbert would be proud.

Take Home Beer

For some reason, this place lets you take specially aged bottle conditioned versions of their beer home. They sell vintage versions of their high alcohol ales as well as one aged in a merlot barrel. Again, unbelievable!

Tuna Tatiki

The final course of sushi grade tuna with pineapple and roasted macadamia nuts was nothing short of incredible with their Belgian Tripel. This place is probably the best microbrew/restaurant I have ever been to.

Second Course

A Harvest Salad with fresh goat cheese and peppers took me to a happy place where magical fairies go.

Course One

Even though they had an Irish dinner prix fix, I decided to do 3 courses of my choosing to match up with my plethora of beers. The first course was a roasted carrot soup that went very well with the lighter ales.

Sampler!

They specialize in Belgian beers and I think they gave me ten instead of six because they thought I was a restaurant reviewer. I guess they think that because I am taking pictures of the place like a Japanese tourist.

Inside of Iron Hill Brewpub

Beautiful interior with the feel of a railcar. The menu looks awesome!

Iron Hill Brewery

I took a much needed break from my week of training to drive thirty miles to a Belgian microbrew in West Chester. Looks good!

Wile E Coyote Needs a Price Check in Aisle 4

I went to get my supplies for the week and this was my lone option. The only way this place could be more generic is if the sign said "FOOD".

King of Prussia Mall

I have not been here since my orientation but it is still a nice place to walk around, get some good food, and watch preteens make out in front of Orange Julius.

Valley Forge Sunset

I really like this park and by the looks of the tons of runners, it is very popular.

Beer Fairy is Not on my Side

Today I learned that you can only buy beer by the case and they are in separate stores from wine. Here is a pic of a really cool place in Wayne, PA called the beer shed where the selection is awesome if you like one type of beer by the case.

After the fun of going through an apathetic TSA, this kiosk says it all. Atlanta airport cares about your comments but does not want to read them.

Comments!

Thoughtful kitty has some news! As a new feature, you all can feel free to leave comments on my blog. Please do not leave comments in Klingon, French or Jive. Any offensive comments will be shared with my pastor, barista, and third cousin. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

2 Things I Love

It was a good opportunity to get a pic of "wife and beer".

Why I Like Muss & Turner's

I will let Cheryl blog about the food but these guys know what they're doing when it comes to beer. They are the only place I know that has the harder to get drafts like Ommegang Chocolate.

Atlanta Tornado Damage

My friend and I were in town looking for beer and got this picture of the damage from last week's storms.

Chosen and Eaten!

I chose the peanut butter cup and midnight chocolate cupcake. You were all waiting in anticipation, right?

Western Boot Mystery

After I got my cupcakes, I went back to my room and in the elevator I found a single boot. I thought it was odd but Heather Mills may be here celebrating her divorce.

Cupcake Fantasy

I got to Gigi's as they were closing and she was willing to give me 2 cupcakes for the price of one!

Yeasty Joy

I have blogged these amazing pretzels before but not in such an artsy way. I am the Annie Liebowitz of bread.

Who is Darcy Hordichuck?

I do not know but he is at the pub somewhere. He sounds like a hockey player or a ballet dancer. Either way, I am scared.

Mmmm Cupcakes...

As I was walking across the street to my favorite brewpub, I saw this vision! Guess where I am going after dinner? More pics and glutenous reviews are forthcoming.

Happy Saint Pepper's Day

He seems oblivious to the headgear. We are all the better for it.

I See Drunk People

Poor Parker has to see his parents interact with drunk adults for a Saint Patrick's Day.

Yo Bunny, Sup' Bee-atch

After being hunkered down for a few hours in our basement, we decided to go to Wal Mart to see how the other 95% lives. The efforts Wal Mart puts into making Easter hip seems about fifteen years too late. I do think Ed Lover would approve.

Final Weather Pic

Looking towards our neighbor's house. We just heard on the news that these cells killed a few people in a neighboring county.

Another View

Looking down the street from our house shows more ominous looking clouds.

Tornado Fun

A day after the tornadoes that destroyed downtown Atlanta came through, we got to partake in the fun. The edge of the tornado clouds can be seen above the houses across the street. Thankfully, we made it through okay.

We Are Snooty Tennis People

Our neighborhood just had new tennis courts installed and while we mocked it at first, we bought our Costco rackets and have played 2 nights in a row. We will be buying white sweaters and bloomers this weekend. Who would have thought we would like it this much!

That Chicken is Crazy!

Cheryl is obsessed with chicken on a bone. We are now happy that El Pollo Loco is in Roswell. Enjoy this photo of chicken carnage.
