Sitting in DC Traffic

Does it make sense to reduce the number of lanes going into Reagan National from 4 to 1? I don't think so but I may be picky. At least I can enjoy the view of the Washington Monument while hearing the Haitian music inside my cab. I am scared of the amount of lotion and cologne in the cab but I may be overly observant.
